Does the Torsen University Special provide any means of retaining the axles/stub shafts in the diff (by internal snap rings or something)? The spec drawings don't indicate anything, and axle retention is the last piece of the puzzle in our drivetrain design.
Thanks,

we bolt the stub shafts together through the diff. our inner tripod/cv housings and stub shafts are a one piece unit, but that doesn't make much of a difference really.

Just make sure there is no way for the CV to come out, and make sure that it will not protrude far enough in to cause damage. You can do it with axle length.
