On the week after Formula Student....

...Is there anything happening motorsports wise in the general area around the F-S venue(say within 1/2 day of driving distance?). It seems this year Formula Student is on the same weekend as British GP(bummer), which means Goodwood is 2 weeks beyond....And being from Canada that'd be a costly stay....so is there anything else to see on that week after?

Any info would be appreciated....

or how about what's around that area company/factory wise within the context of motorsport....Maybe a factory tour or something would be cool...

A couple of us Monash guys are planning on Goodwood festival, two weeks prior to the event, (flying into London, so its not far away) then heading north, check out donington museum (I think we estimated about an hour away from Bruntingthorpe?). I believe most of the racing stuff in England is in a fairly close proximity .(Everything in England is close compared to Australia though). We are going to try and hook up a few, fingers crossed.
