This is a request to all teams that have any carbon panels they'd like to sell.

If you have 3/4" nomex, single or double layer carbon panels, we'd like to make you an offer.

Also, if anyone knows any good carbon panel suppliers, that will come through FAST (mfg, delivery, etc.) please post.

Thanks a bunch.

Sorry, no full size sheet. However, a local metal surplus place has a few more 4x8 sheets of aluminium skin/core panel left. 0.5" and 1.0" thickness, with .02 something skin. They want $200 a sheet I believe. If that will work for you, contact me off list.

No carbon skin? 3/4" thick?

Anyone else out there with any good contacts?

3/4" is really awfully thick...I know we get alot of .4" panels from companies like Hexcel and Boeing as its used in aircraft construction (flooring I believe)...You might look into getting some of the thinner stuff, and bonding panels together where you really need the section. We have some .4" stuff we might be able to sell, or better yet you could contact Hexcel directly...

Travis,

The panels we use act as the centre section of the chassis......thus the thickness. There is just a tube frame running the perimeter of them.

I will contact Hexcel immediately. Thanks champ!

We're done the chassis....and bonding in the panels is the last step...so this is really bottlenecking us.

Can you send me the contact info for the surplus dealer that has the Aluminum skin - aluminum core panels? I am interested in the 1" panels.

Also, anyone having contact info for dealers of Aluminum honeycomb panels/surplus, please let me know. The panels I am looking for are 0.032" skin (20 gauge), 3/4" to 1" total thickness.
