UHaul has caused us a bit of a headache in the last week or so and we ended up having to cancel our trailer rental for the trip out to Michigan.

Does anyone within a reasonable (Max 10 hour) distance from Southern California have an enclosed trailer that we could rent/borrow for the trip duration? We're looking for a 6x12 trailer but a 5x10 should do.

Does anyone have any recommendations for other sources of trailers?

check with your university maintenance dept. those guys usually have some nice things like trailers that they use for toting around lawnmowers and other things. maybe you could clean one out and borrow it for the week?

In the past, our team has used local racing team trailers (go to the local dirt track, or even a kart track, you'd be suprised how many have enclosed trailers.

We've also used the Solar car trailer or other university trailers.

We were lucky enough to have one donated to us permanently... Though I expect it is a bit too late for you guys to now trying to get one donated as well. What about using an open trailer, or a moving van?
