Hey, can anyone tell me a little bit about what engines you are using and how much are you paying for them?
Is there an overwelming use of Hondas or is it just me.

I found the best place in Aus to get an engine was:

Metropolitan Motorcycle Spares
90 Silverwater Rd Silverwater NSW 2128
Ph: (02) 9748 7400

most quotes i've had are around..
f4 AUS$3000 gstinc (US$1800)
f3 AUS$2700 gstinc

thats for engine, leads, coils, and regulator
no carbs, no exhaust

We picked up a pair of 2001 F4i car kits, one for $1400 US (picked up) the other $1750 US (including delivery from California to New York). We also bought an F4i head (complete) for $300.

Hi, I'm Alfonso from Venezuela. We bought our engine (f4i) by ebay. We got the engine (with 2000 miles), ECM, wiring harness, fuel pump, radiator and intake manifold. We paid 1450 US $ including shipping from Ohio to Miami. You can always found some good offers at ebay. Look there.

Im geting quotes of about 2500 - 3500 Aust dollars for a variety of late model engines. Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki. That seems to fit in with what you guys are paying.
