I have been Powertrain leader the last 2 years, and still have a hard time finding a compact external fuel pump that has AN fitting / hard line capability. Our cars don't need a massive pump, and I'd prefer to use external (although anyone with good internal information I'd like to hear it).

Has anyone found an OEM pump that can use a Kinsler adapter, or an aftermarket AN-adaptable fuel pump that is a reasonable size?

Thanks

The F4i pump is in-tank though. We'd prefer to not have to worry about an in-tank pump for servicability and complexity added to tank fabrication. Not ruling it out though.

Try the external pump from an 87 Ford Ranger w/ a 2.3 4 cyl or 2.9 6 cyl. The aftermarket pumps listed below are for that application. We have told our customers to use that for several years now without any problems.

- NAPA part: NFPP74028
- Master Part #: E2000 (sold at other parts houses)
