Hi-
We were wondering about an item in the 3.3.4.1 rule: "A 4.5 mm (0.18 inch) inspection hole must be drilled in a non-critical location of both the main hoop and the front hoop to allow verification of wall thickness"
Our main hoop features 5/32" holes near the bottom for firewall mounting purposes; can they acceptably serve for thickness verification as well? (I think it would be enough for a small vernier caliper) I know it's a minor point, but I'd prefer not to mess around any more with the hoops if we don't have to.
Thanks-
