Hello guys...I have a problem with adams and need your help...Im working with the suspension system and i already have the msc_fsae_2005r2 suspension subsystem in which i have change the hardpoints and make it like ours...
Also for the simulation...i have put the setups parameters,i ve modify the springs...In a few words i have modify the default suspension subsystem to our suspension subsystem...Now my problem is that when i m making a simulation (parallel wheel travel)and then i go to the Post Processor to view the plots im taking some results...thats ok..now If i make a change in one of the input data, i cant see any difference in the plots..
I tried to delete the first plots and make new with the new input data...but they are always the same..Can someone tell me what im doing wrong???
Regards

What kind of plots are you trying to view?
I would suggest you get help on the ADAMS forums through the MSC website.

I m trying to view camber angle with wheel travel, toe, ride height,anti-dive...Basically all of them are the same...no matter the changes i make...
which parameters are you changing?

After 2-3 logical changes in some parameters.. with no success...i changed everything trying to get some differences on the plots, but again nothing...the same plots(the first ones) all the time...Is there any case that adams reads only from a concrete file and maybe i have to change the read path?

It might sound stupid but are you selecting the newer simulation file in the post processor window? Like i said you will get better help on the MSC forum.

Yes Mike...Every time after a simulation, i select the newer...but the result is the same http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Anyway i ll try the MSC forum as you said...
Thanks for your time guys!!

This is a disappointingly common problem in the simulation world. Your results aare not connected to your inputs. Once you realise this, the problem gets easier to solve. Why are they not connected?

Guys im very happy....i found it...
When you make a change ...then a new simulation and later you go to the post processor...it cant plot the new result with any way...
You have to:
File-->Import--->Results Files and then search to the folder with your saves to find the last simulation you made...Then you have to make your own plots...and the new data line will enter the previous plot and show you the difference...
I thought that with the new simulation your plots would change automatically..but that cant happen...
Anyway i solve my problem...
Thanks again guys!!!
***If someone didnt understand how i make it...send me a message and i ll try to be more supposable...***
