Once I saw a picture of a scooter with a turbo mounted on it in this forum but I can't find it any where. I was wondering if anyone knows where it is at.

on a similar topic, has anyone seen the turbine engined fridge before? it was a new zealand bloke who built it. i cant remember his website...

- absolutely everything was available to him, but that only meant it was impossible to find what he was looking for, which is the purpose of computers.

I can't help with the scooter, although I have seen a pic of it at some stage, but the world's first jet engined beer cooler can be found at http://www.asciimation.co.nz/beer/

It's amazing what someone with too much time on their hands can achieve.

I think the scooter you guys are talking about is the 'scooter in an hour challenge' scooter. The turbo on the back is not functional and was strapped on after the challenge was over, the original scooter was built in an hour by Bob at Monash uni. this link has pics of the scooter without the turbo, don't know where the turbo pics are.

There he goes -- one of God's own
prototypes -- a high powered mutant
of some kind never even considered
for mass production. Too weird to
live and too rare to die.
