Has anyone done any back to back testing with the different brands of tyre? (tire for the americans)

How do people decide which brand to use if only goodyear supply any decent information?

Tyre testing. MTS Flat Trac. Get as many tyres as you possibly can, fork out the cash and get the data. GOodyear only provides data for their hard-as-old-cheese R95 compound. We went out and tested their new R65 compound and the Hoosier R25A. The results are surprising.

I plan on testing the goodyears, hoosiers, and avon tires on the Flat Trac in September. If you want to sell some data or trade some data for the Avon data in I would be willing to do so. I am running the softest Avon tyres avaliable and they are coming from the UK in about a month.

Where did you run the testing? In Canada somewhere? There are only 2 companies in the states other than tire makers that have the Flat Trac machines. Thanks

I'd be willing to trade depending on what spec compound Avon's you will be testing.

We did our testing at Smithers Scientific in Ravenna Ohio. I am aware of the exclusivity of MTS machines!
