I'm pretty sure we get our brand new motors directly from a dealer for less than that...

these are brand new motors. Came from the Canadian dealer principal. AF1 sells them for $6700.00

AF1 has a fairly large markup. I would imagine most FSAE teams using this motor have worked with a dealer to get parts without a significant markup, in which case 5k isn't the greatest deal.

fair enough...make an offer...if it's reasonable, i 'll look at it. I've shipped to Austria and elsewhere for that price...what's odd is that they cant get them any cheaper there.
