Hello guys, i'm new at this forum. I'm from Argentina and my University is trying to start to design and build a FSAE car. That is why i'm planning to attend to the California competition on June and I wonder if you could recommend me a hotel. The idea would be, if you don't mind, to get a room in the same hotel as one of the teams and then drive with them to the competition.
Thanks in advance

You will probably find some specific team response that can confirm this, but in the past many teams tended to stay in the Rancho Cucamonga area. Here are a few hotels that I believe teams have stayed at:

If you fly into ONT airport, you can likely take a free shuttle to one of these hotels as well. LAX is a long drive from the speedway, so keep that in mind.
Additionally, it is possible to take public transport to the speedway if necessary (bus from in front of Ontario Springs mall (4th and Franklin)
Ride OMNITRANS BUS 61 (FONTANA) heading east
From: 4TH ST/FRANKLIN AV(SE corner)
To: SAN BERNARDINO AV/CHERRY AV(SW corner)
Pay $1.35
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ending at CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY
Total cash fare = $1.35
Trip distance is about 3.52 miles.

Thank you very much for answer. The information was very useful! I will try to book a room in one of those hotels.
