I am looking for a 525 rear sprocket for the TRE differential (taylor race does not sell 525 size sprockets). Now I know I can have one custom made to the bolt pattern, but does anyone know if the TRE bolt pattern is common to any sportbikes (ie yamaha or suzuki)?

Call up Rebel Gears or Sprocket Specialists and have them make you one with whatever bolt pattern you need. They are fairly cheap and very good quality.

Or do it on a 2-axis CNC at school and be done with it for cost of material. Easy.

Well I was hoping someone could tell me if the TRE sprocket bolt pattern was taken from a standard sport bike, but I guess I will just have to go the sprocket specialist/sidewinder sprockets route.

Thanks

You absolutely can't machine one at school? All you need is a 2-axis retrofit Bridgeport. Draw it up with that gear add-in for Solidworks, do some quick FEA, bolt down a plate of aluminum and go to town. Can have a sprocket in a day.
