Hi all
Why is it that some teams have there rear bottom suspension inboard points close together. It creates that v shape rear end. Is it because it reduces there movement as they are closer to the roll center.
Any help thanks

Not something we do, but I think you're talking about having very long lower wishbones such that they almost meet in the middle? This would probably be in an effort to minimise track change in bump and roll that scrubs the tyre across the ground. It would also reduce roll centre movement, in the vertical direction at least.

Hope this helps!

kinematic RC migration is a function of the relative lengths of the upper and lower arms. The length of one arm only has a 2nd-order effect on migration.
