Congratulations for 1st place, and to all teams that could make it to the competition!
I couldn't make it this year, but I'm definitely going to be there on 2010. I heard this year was much more competitive than the previous years, and everybody was getting along very friendly, despite the rivalry http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Hey if you have more pictures thats something Id like to see!

Lucas! Pass along my congrats to the rest of your team and Roberto also! Good job. I see you guys went with Hoosiers this year huh? How were they compared to the Pirelli's?
Hope to see you guys up here in Michigan again this year. Our lab has been downsized but I'm sure we can accomodate you guys for a week!

Thanks Kevin Viado!
Pirelli supports a little more lateral and longitudinal acceleration and the Hoosier driveability is a little better. But we have a Pirelli with the driveability like Hoosier. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
See you next year!

How's the development going with the new powertrain?
The new team at LTU is beyond behind...I'm crossing my fingers that they pull something together. But be sure to let me know when you guys come to MI...We'll do Hooters and The Yacht Club again! http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Hi Kevin! We're finishing the design of the new powertrain and we'll start the engine this month.
Does anyone know if it's easy to find E85 or E100 at gas stations in Detroit?
Thanks!

There are a reasonable number of gas stations selling E85 in South East Michigan. The following link gives the location of all the E85 stations in Michigan:
http://e85vehicles.com/e85-michigan.htm
There are 4 in Southfield (LTU territory), 2 in Ann Arbor, 1 in Chelsea, 2 in Jackson (fairly close to MIS).
E100 is not available from any retail outlet anywhere that I am aware of.
