FSAE/FH 2018 Spring Workshop

On Saturday, February 10th, 2018, the SAE Detroit Section will be holding its 2018 Spring FSAE/FH Workshop at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan.

This Workshop is designed to complement the 2017 Fall Workshop and help Formula SAE® IC, FSAE Electric, and Formula Hybrid teams with their vehicle development and with the events at the competitions.

All Formula teams are encouraged to bring their vehicles to discuss challenges and share ideas. The FSAE Electric teams are especially encouraged to bring their vehicles and the paperwork that is required for technical inspection as these cars will be used in an afternoon break-out session on Getting through Electrical Technical Inspection.

The program includes:

- Competition Overview
- The Design, Cost & Presentation Events
- nGetting through Mechanical & Electrical Technical Inspections
- The 3 View Drawings
- Impact Attenuator Testing and IAD Report
- Engine Calibration
- Suspension Development
- Driving Techniques

Regrettably, 2 days before the Workshop, we had a big snow storm in SE Michigan and had to cancel the Workshop. We tried to find an alternative date but have been unsuccessful. So, Roxanne Loeffler of the SAE Detroit Section has just sent out this notice:

"It is with much regret to have to inform you that based on scheduling conflicts, we are not able to reschedule the FSAE Workshop, and will provide everyone a refund."

We will have a Fall Workshop, so stay tuned.
