I put the template which used to ensure that the opening giving access to the cockpit is of adequate size in the chassis like images now i want to known if the size or the area
of the cockpit is enough ? AS we known after the welding get cold the space between members Shrink and cockpit come smaller So i leave space between the the template and the side impact members like pic so
is this space enough to make sure that the template will be inserted vertically until it has passed below the top bar of the Side Impact Structure after welding and fit rules ?

Seems like there is enough there. What is the minimum distance from template to chassis? Just so I don't have to eat my words...

You are also allowed to translate the template forward and rearward as it is inserted.

As a bare chassis, that template looks fine. However if you place a gearshift lever or other controls in the cockpit, that's when things get a bit tighter.
