Hello people

My name is Stefanos Stamoulis. I am part of TEIWM Racing FSAE Team from the University of Applied Sciences of Western Macedonia located in Kozani, Greece. We recently finished designing our first vehicle to built for 2017 FSAE
season. We plan to build the chassis from AISI 4130/25CrMo4 Alloy Steel. Now we are in the simulation phase (FEA proccess) utilizing ANSYS Mechanical. Now what i am looking for is the complete material properties. Many websites have different
properties for the same material and it is difficult to get the right stuff. Is there a legitimate database for the mechanical properties of this material?

The company we plan to buy the tubes give only Yield and Tensile strength.

Kind Regards

Low alloy steel is low alloy steel, they all have the same stiffness.

What else do you need?
There is an AISI 4130 specification that you could read.
