Description:
Use hand carving tools to cut predetermined tire tread patterns into smooth tires. The hand carved tires will undergo various testing to evaluate and develop new tire technologies for passenger, SUV and light and medium truck tires.
You will be responsible to read drawings, interpret dimensional information, use measuring equipment, safely use hand tools to prepare and cut tires consistently accurate.
You will be responsible to organize your work, keep materials and equipment properly stored and workplace clean.
Must be able to exert sufficient force to cut tire and lift up to 60 lbs.
