General Position overview:
Monitor tire performance and recommend practices to improve tire performance in customer fleets.
Organize and monitor tire evaluations on commercial fleets to support product development and sales to fleets.
Job Specific duties:
Primary responsibility will be managing fleet inspections and data analysis reporting.
Takes lead role in developing and conducting fleet training programs.
Actively involved in set up and tire placement for fleet tire evaluations
Works closely with the OE, Tire Engineering and Quality teams to follow field -related matters in commercial truck applications.
Works closely with Sales & Tire Engineering to support programs with major fleets.
Primary focus will be on commercial truck tires but may also include work with light vehicle tires.
Assesses trends in equipment, procedures and products.
Keeps current on technology of greatest impact.
Demonstrates good planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a technically related Bachelors degree. Previous tire field engineering experience is required.
