Hello,
My name is Kevin, I am the mech team leader of Poly eRacing. We are facing an issue with the revision of our SES and I would like to know if other teams have the same problem.
Here is our little story: We sent the first revision of our SES for Lincoln on October 28th. It was accepted for Formula North, but rejected for Lincoln about a month ago. This is fine I suppose.
The reason it was rejected is because our accumulator container brackets are supposedly not correct, even though they are standard per EV3.4.9 and our accumulator container is also standard per EV3.4.6.
So now, we are waiting for our SES to be approved to manufacture the proper brackets and it is the only thing stopping us from having a finished car, mechanically speaking. The thing is, every time we send a new revision, we have to wait one week to receive the answer and when we receive it, another issue is sometimes flagged. I understand that the person in charge reviews SES on his free time, but it is becoming an issue for us and it is frustrating since it could have been reviewed since October.
Of course, we understand that there are a lot of SES to be reviewed, but we would like to know if other teams are facing this issue. Competitions are coming fast.
