Bosch Motorsport Division is looking for a Motorsport Software and Controls Development Engineer in Novi, MI.
Responsibilities
Motorsport software and controls development engineer focusing on development of advanced internal combustion engine, transmission, and/or vehicle dynamics control algorithms for applications in IMSA and Pirelli World Challenge road racing series.
Rapid algorithm development using automotive software development methods and tools, such as MatLab Simulink.
Engineer and manage new algorithms through full software development life cycle: from concepts, to rapid prototyping, SIL and HIL testing, vehicle integration and on site customer validation, and final delivery/release.
Development of low level device drivers and programming of Programmable Logic Devices for embedded systems.
Customer interfacing through definition of software change requests, design constraint definition, and resolution of software related issues.
Collaboration with multi-discipline project team domestically and abroad.
Travel to customer meetings and/or project team offsite activities.
Utilize time management and dynamic prioritization for multiple engineering projects.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering.
1-5 years relevant industry experience preferably with engine management or similar control systems.
Preferred:
Working level knowledge of internal combustion engines.
