Taylor race tripod dimensions?

I was wondering if anyone could give me this dimension for the taylor race tripods?

Also does anyone know if any of the steel inserts Taylor race sells will work with the 25.5mm bearing tripods? or any hints to making/fitting our own?

The lobe circle diameter is 1.600in

1.00 in is 25.4 mm, not 25.5.

I believe that 1.6 in is more than optimal, but the stock parts are like this.

Hints for making your own: Don't make the housings too tight and make them hard enough if you want durability.
