Viking V8

Hey all,
I've had a fascination with the Western Washington V8 for quite some time now and was hoping that some of you would have pictures, videos, sound clips etc of it. If so post em here!

I spoke with the team captain from that era a couple of years ago and he said he knew he had footage of the car driving but it was all on tape in his attic. He had mentioned that he really would want to digitize it, but I don't think he ever got around to it. Life? Who ever expects that to get in the way?!

I'll reach out to him and ask if looked for or found the tapes. I don't know if/when I'll get an answer, but we can always try.

By good luck, I happened to be nearby when it ran (briefly) at Pontiac Silverdome. Then it puked most of it's oil... For that brief moment, it reminded me of the sound of a Cosworth, which I'd heard many times at Watkins Glen F1 races.

My understanding is Rob actually has the whole vehicle now down here in the Costa Mesa area. I haven't seen him in maybe 9 months, but the last I talked to him he said he wanted to get it up and running again eventually. I'm sure work and family life are keeping the pace to a minimum. Haha.
