Our EMU standalone engine control unit is a feature-rich system with a huge number of hardware and software features built into the box. It features an integrated 6 channel ignitor, integrated wideband controller, built-in 4 bar MAP sensor, optional bluetooth adapter to allow the use of an android phone or tablet as a configurable dash display with logging capability, dual maps, auto-tuning of the VE table, several failsafe features, etc.
The EMU is compatible with most existing cam and crank trigger patterns, and if your trigger isn't supported we can add it within a week. We're here to help you get your engine running well, and are available to help with troubleshooting and tech support along the way.
I'm an FSAE Alum and understand the challenges that teams face along the way. I plan to prepare some writeups that will outline the process for building and calibrating the engine control system, so let me know if you have any burning questions and I'll do what I can to help.
