We are a IMSA Lites team running the full IMSA schedule with three cars and are looking for an intern for the summer. This is a hands-on position where you will be trained on day to day race team operations and operate as a crew member for the team. We are looking for a candidate that is good with their hands and can function as a race mechanic. We also will have crew positions available from time to time at the IMSA or SCCA races. Our schedule is variable-- days and hours vary based on travel schedule.
We also run several prototype cars and Formula cars in SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) along with a hodgepodge of other projects.
This is an unpaid internship but does include housing at VIR and travel expenses and hotels while on the road. We are located in the main paddock of Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia. Our schedule this summer includes VIR, Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen and Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.
