Cancellation of Formula Student Russia 2015

Dear teams!

With regret we inform you that the second international stage Formula Student Russia 2015 will not take place for objective reasons. Due to unstable financial situation in the country the budget of Moscow has been reduced which led to the cancellation of the competition.
We thank all the teams and judges who were interested and supported the young Russian event.
We hope that the economic situation will be favorable next year, and the new stage of Formula Student Russia continues its sports journey to Moscow in 2016.

It is sad to hear that the competition was cancelled with few months left.

If there are teams who registered for FSR 2015 and have already built their car, yet are stranded due to cancellation of FSR 2015, we at Formula Student India would like to extend our invitation towards them.

Formula Student India™ 2016 is scheduled to take place between 5 – 9 February, 2016.

This is the second edition of the competition and it runs in complete accordance with Formula Student rules and guidelines as seen in other competitions across the world. The Chief Design Judges for the competition are Claude Rouelle, Pat Clarke & Steve Fox – familiar names across the Formula Student community. The Chief Tech Inspectors are Maria Esther Bonilla Torres & Felix Scherke from the Formula Student Germany scrutineering team.

The deadlines for the Business Logic Case, Impact Attenuator Data & Structural Equivalency Spreadsheet have passed. However, we would be waiving the late submission penalties for those submissions and teams can submit them along with Design Report & Design Spec Sheet on 13th July, 2015.

Please note: Formula Student India™ 2016 will be held according to FSAE 2015 rules, hence, all cars built according to FSAE 2015 rules are eligible to participate in Formula Student India™ 2016
