Hey Guys,
Our Team from northern Germany is constructing an E-Racer for the 4th time this year.
In this season we want to change things a little. We are switching from 1 cooling circuit to 2 circuits one for the inverter the other for the engine. The rules for Catch cans say, that you need a catch can that is able to gather either 0.9 liters or 10% of the water flowing in the cooling system. We would like to employ one catch can for these two circuits, because both together contain less than 10 liters. Question is: is there a rule that dictates you to use one Catch can per each circuit or are we free to do one for 2?

MK,

You should identify yourself and your team as part of this community.

Your question is one you should direct to the Rules group at FSG as no one here can give you a definitive answer.
