Is Bosch Ignition Control Module (MTR04 0227 100 200) a Dual or a four channeled control module?
Can we connect 4 spark plugs directly to the module (without using ignition coils)?:confused:

Carz14, it would be nice to introduce yourself and your team.

The module you ask about is a 12 volt switching module. It does not generate high tension for the plugs. It switches one coil, so for a multi cylinder engine, you need a distributor.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=0+227+100+200 should help you, there's at least 1 result in the first page that should help you answer your first question.

In any case, the module doesn't replace an ignition coil, it is only used for a non-transistorized coil driven by an ECU without a power transistor. If your ignition coil has an integrated transistor, or your ECU has a power transistor (many don't have one), you don't need this Bosch module.
