Hey forums,
There's a lot of information on the basics of injector design. Sourcing injectors, pulse widths, opening and closing events, the basics of spray patterns, etc. More than enough to put together a competent and functioning injection system.
But I'm looking for some more in-depth information. Maybe nothing will make it into my final design, or the benefits will be negligible, but I'd at least like to consider it. I'm thinking about system pressure, orifice size and shape, atomization, Sauter Mean Diameter, the like. Also comparisons between various injectors, like the Bosch EV6 and EV14 series. Once I take out the forum posts, opinions, and theoretical research papers I haven't been able to find much usable data. Does anyone have any tips for me? Am I totally overlooking something?
