I just saw this picture today.
Some team needs to do a minimalist car that looks like this.

Only info I have on it is: "An open-wheeled formula car with an engine from a spridget!"

It looks like an "old" fsae car if we were making them back when the silver arrow was still funded by hitler!

Not going to lie....kind of makes me pucker looking at it but at the same time its pretty sweet.

Would also need to re-locate the radiator....thats a "non crushable" object there ;)

Might have an issue passing the footwell template with that one.

EDIT: Hmm, didn't post the rest of my response.

Aside from the front mounted radiator, a similar chassis that passes footwell and cockpit templates would me amazing, do an aluminum honeycomb monocoque with tubular rear subframe, single cylinder, and split 10-inch front / 13-inch rear wheels, and that would be insanely light.
