Formula Student Germany - Become a Red Shirt!

Whether you cannot compete in Formula Student Germany 2012 but still want to be part of the event, or whether you are an old team member and you miss the Formula Student spirit, or even if you already have finished university, or just want to be part of a large international team and want to help out organizing an event for 110 student teams (78 combustion, 32 electric) from all over the world, you are more than welcome to join our team of RED SHIRTS 2012!

The event will take place from July 31st to August 5th 2012, whereas the buildup will already start on Monday July 30th. In order to familiarize you with the different jobs and to deploy you during the whole event, it is required that you are able to attend during the whole event. Your job as a Red Shirt ends on Monday 6th at 1 p.m. after wrap up. You have the choice to either stay on the campground with your team and all the other teams right next to the Hockenheimring or to spend the nights in a hotel. Either one will be paid for you by Formula Student Germany as well as food and beverages. Needless to mention the big party on Sunday night, which you will attend as a special guest.

We are looking forward to your support at Hockenheim this summer!

@Jon: Germans very rarely make jokes. It's been recorded a couple of times in human history, but it's quite a historic event when it happens.

Covering food and hotel expenses is great news! Being the first year after six years going to competitions, I already start missing it, so I might consider travelling from Greece to Hockenheim a few days this summer...http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Should be fun being member of the competition from the "other side"!

you just need to register and mark in the application form whether you want to stay on the campsite or in a hotel. So you do not need to book a hotel on your own, we take care of that.
Most of the red shirts stay together in the same hotel, which increases the fun level http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
