Hey everyone. im from sunderland su racing team. we are having problems finding a fibergladd company to do our body work for us. the company we were going to use have gone bust. looking for a company in the uk preferably near the north east, not to much of a problem if its abit further away. any help would be much appreciated.

welcome to the forums, are you looking for companies to make the body for you or just to supply the materials etc..?

CFSnet.co.uk was where we got our material from. Not massively helpful now, but they had 10% off in March - they might have other deals now.

Not sure who could help with building it. Maybe a local boat builder? Anyone who someone on the team knows who makes kit cars/boats/model aeroplanes or anything?

Depending on how desperate you get as long as there's someone who is happy to spend daily time on it for a month (or less) it's fairly easy to get something knocked up yourself.

Also look at aircraft fabric, or using ally (or corruflow, or something else light) to make flat panels so you only have to GFRP the minimum (nose).
