Hi everybody, I need more specific spec for zx6r and zx6rr 2003 like the weight of each engine. If anybody knows good reference web site, It would be appreciated. I have already try the factory site, but the weight mentionned include all the bike. Sorry for my english!

We're also looking into the kawasaki. Just as a note, the current zx6r is a 636cc engine, but the older zx6rs (pre-2002ish?) are 600cc. The zx6rr is a badass motor.

Yeah, I know for the motor, but according kawasaki factory site they have a Zx-6r with 599cc ZX600-E1. Im curious about your reply, what did you mean about bad ass? Thanks!

I'm not sure about the E-1 it may be the new 6RR. The '06 is updated from the '05 and the '05 is a D series. The older 2002-2000 6R engine is currently being used in the '05+ ZZR600 and is still the J series. The older 6R engine without intake or exhaust weighs 128 lbs with our custom drysump and an 1/8" steel plate replacing the oil pan.
