Hi all,

After a few years of working professionally on racecars I noticed that measuring toe can be a little complicated (at least in my opinion), so I have started work on a new tool and would like to know how other people feel about the issue. If you have experience in measuring toe I would greatly appreciate if you can answer this short survey which should take less than 5 minutes. Thanks!

..and if you have any other comments on measuring toe please feel free to post them here!

I'd only be interested in individual wheel angles (camber and steer --> deg.) and ride height (mm). We use optical encoders (pickle fork type and precision string pots or MTS K&C sensors)

Is this what you're talking about?

Do you always use the optical encoders to adjust the setup? i.e. is it portable enough to use at the track?

Optical encoder(s)s for track use: measure toe, camber, steer ratio (Need one for steering wheel, too) and caster (using its definition as the partial derivative of camber by wheel steer).
