Many universities in Quebec have FSAE teams. it depends now if you plan on going to an english or french university.
English:
McGill University
Concordia University
French:
École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS)
École Polytechnique de Montréal (EPM)
Université de Laval
Université de Sherbrooke Ã* Québec
Université de Québec Ã* Chicoutimi (UQÃ*C)
But for enlgish, Concordia University don't have too much success in FSAE.
I recommend McGill University in Montréal.

Pretty much every university in Ontario has a team that competes regularly
English: University of Toronto
French: ETS has one of their best cars.

As others have said, there are plenty of schools.
Are you thinking of attending a school? or are you looking for something else?

My son is looking for a school that offers FSAE for 2009. It will have to be english based.
Anyone heard anything regarding Dalhousie in Halifax? Or UNB in New Brunswick. Too bad Memorial doesn't offer it as the costs to go there are decent.

Jethro,
I recommend you take a look through the results from previous competitions. You'll get a feel for which schools compete on a regular basis. Some schools will show up once every few years - these generally have a difficult time keeping the program alive. I recommend a school that competes regularly, even if the results have not been very successful (at least he could focus on the project, opposed to dealing with the bureaucracy of keeping the program going). Once you find something interesting, email the school and team directly with some specific questions....if you're nearby, ask to stop in and visit the team.

Best of luck.

U Toronto's FSAE team(as well as the shop)is usually featured during the engineering open house as well as other promotional-type event for the school where new students or future students are concerned. And in the past(as well as now I'd imagine) even you are ever in Toronto you can always e-mail the team management beforehand to arrange for a tour of the shop even if its not during one of the school event....I guess Toronto is a bit far though.

Dalhousie entered their first competition last year at FSAE West. They did not compete anywhere this year and their website appears to be dead.
I don't remember ever seeing UNB entered into any FSAE events in the last 5 years, though I believe they used to have a team.
