Just wondering who's interested, who has already, or who's planning on staying involved after graduation.

Currently, all positions are open (barring design judging, requires 5 years industry experience) as far as I've been told. Should be a lot of fun to see how things go!

I emailed asking about available volunteering posistions about a month+ ago and have not heard back yet. I suppose I'll try again in a bit.

I've been involved when the schedule allows it and it is really rewarding. I did Brake and Noise at West awhile back and that is a fun event to do because you see all the cars up close and talk to each team. The on-track stuff is fun too.

Most events are lean on volunteers so I encourage anyone who can to attend and help out, and I think most alums will really enjoy it.

For the Michigan event, you need to send your name into Kathleen McDonald at katklaus@aol.com, the same lady to whom you send the Rules questions, not to SAE-I. I don't know when Kathleen starts here volunteer list, but reasonable people, especially SAE alums are always welcome.

You could also come over and help us with the Formula Hybrid demo at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 7th, that is planned to be a part the "Emerging Technologies" show at IMS's 100th Anniversary celebration.
