Hey guys,

I am using a strain gage and am having some trouble calibrating it. Strainmatics shows a simulated microstrain value of 1221, and a thermal correction of 0.175. I am wondering, at an operating temperature of 250 F, shouldn't thermal correction be more than that?

Thanks. If you need to see strainmatics calibration report for more details, please let me know.

What are you reading the gauges with? This might be a questions for a professor that teaches this stuff.
