I know this has been asked before, but I figured I'd give it another shot. Our team is planning on using a Haltech PS1000 ecu on a 2007 R6 this year and I'm trying to find base fuel and ignition maps (which I'm 99% sure Haltech does not currently have). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The stock map of the ECU will probably be enough to start the engine.
From this point, you should map the engine at various load and rpm...
A bit of tweaking at the post start enrichment map, cranking map and the temp Vs inj. time and advance angle
and it will start and idle pretty nice.
We also work with Haltech and we did what i have written above.
Especially our new engine started with no trouble at all, with a pretty basic map...
Ohh, i suggest working with TPS only for loading and leave the map value locked or working for compensation purposes.

Sorry I don't think I was asking the right question. I'm really not sure where to find the stock map (that's what I meant by a base map). Thanks

? don't think that the stock maps of the R6 will work for you.
The think has 8 injectors, variable runners and runs unrestricted on quad-throttles.
I'm saying that starting from the default map of the Haltech, you will easily tune it to run decently and it will be easier to fine tune it.
The only place to find the stock map, or a base map for the r6 is to mail Haltech and also look at the Haltech Forum, there is a section about base maps.

I know DTA ECU software comes with a default FSAE engine map.
If you download the software, get the data, then convert it manually to your software, you should have a half decent start.

Has anyone used the Haltech "auto tuning"? Was it successful with the wonky maps produced by the restrictor?

You mean by closed loop 02 control?
