Furniture Row Racing is a new and ambitious Nextel Cup NASCAR team located in Denver, CO

In the next few months our team will be recruiting engineers with passion, knowledge and experience for:

Chassis
- Data acquisition
- Simulation
- 7 post rig.
- Damper (shocks) simulation, building and shock dyno testing
- Wind tunnel/on track aerodynamics measurements
- Tire modeling

Engine
- Valve train design, simulation and testing
- Engine Dyno
- Chassis Dyno
- Combustion Analysis
- Inlet, Exhaust and Cylinderhead design, machining and testing
- Cooling and oil system

Send a CV or resume along with a letter describing clearly, sincerely and giving verifiable details in the following:
- What are your character traits that make you a unique and different person?
- Your motivation and your interest in this position.
- Your practical experience (General and Motorsport specific Software / Hardware and hands on experience)
- The extent of your theoretical knowledge/education.
- A description of the jobs that your knowledge and experience allowed you to complete satisfactorily. DO NOT say that you know how to use such and such software, which you should know anyway if you spent any time in the classroom. Instead, give examples of jobs completed by you. Describe quantitatively what their objectives were, if you reached them (and if not why), and if you worked alone or with a team. In what way will your participation in this company add to
- The knowledge, the know-how and the identity of Furniture Row Racing?

Some additional things to keep in mind when writing the letter:
- Do you have any examples of you work you can send us?
- What is your practical, hands-on experience?
- Show us example of project or thesis.
- Do you have examples Matlab, Visual basic or similar programming software and/or drawing software you can send us?
- Are you ready to work 70 to sometimes 90 hours a week?

Thanks Claude - I hope Mike does well with you. The next class graduates June 18th - mostly regular techs in that group. The class graduating in December will have one AE
