Hi All!

The early registration has passed on this upcoming seminar, however I'm going to extend the early pricing to those of you on this forum! Email rachel.trapp@optimumg.com today to register at the discounted price!

This seminar is the three day seminar you've all heard of plus an additional day of simulation where we'll apply all the theory discussed in the three days prior. It's a seminar experience you will not want to miss!

Also, did I mention all calculations are based on a generic FSAE car?

Check out more details here:http://www.optimumg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/NebraskaFSAEseminar2012.pdf

I look forward to hearing from all of you today!

Additional information:

For the OptimumG seminar following the Formula SAE competition in Lincoln Nebraska, we are bringing out brand new training material. With the added 4th day, we will go through methods and tools that will help you understand how to apply the theory in designing and setting up a FSAE car.

In the class room there will be a Driver-In-the-Loop simulator which be used to demonstrate engineering development methods and also used for data analysis to improve vehicle performance and driver performance.

Students will have a chance to go on the simulator and their performance will be analyzed in class, with the goal to increase understanding and improve performance of the driver/vehicle.

Take a look at this video to learn more (and get sneak peek of what the endurance track in Lincoln will look like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWhdIBvjYmo

Cheers,
Rachel

Best money I spent, and it looks like it keeps getting better every time! I wish I could attend.

An amazing amount of effort goes into improving the high quality teaching materials presented in the seminars. The seminar is pretty much a must attend once in your life event for anyone considering work in the racing (or automotive) industry. It is probably not a waste of time to go again if you did a seminar a while ago given the pace that the material is updated as well as new funny videos and jokes. For whatever reason dirty jokes said with a Belgian accent a just that little bit funnier.

The discount given to FSAE teams is also quite a lot. Claude ends up earning a lot more for the seminars delivered to professional teams and organisations, and I think the low cost for FSAE indicates how much he cares about the community.

Well said, Kev. I have to agree completely. I went to the seminar after the Michigan competition this year, and it was probably 3 of the hardest days in terms of the volume of information delivered, but it was well worth it. There's so much information to be learned at these seminars. I would suggest getting multiple people from each team to go, if possible. Then you can talk about things at night, and things should sink in a little bit better.

I 2nd this post.

Claude's seminar jumped me light years ahead in my proficiency in vehicle dynamics.

If you plan on going into the industry or want to become competitive FSAE team you need this seminar.

I plan on taking it again in 2 years.

The jokes and stories he tells are worth the money alone http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

No No I am still talking about the UK event, I was referring to it, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I trust the UK event will be similar to this one?
