It isn't about being shy. A question should be asked only after some amount of effort has been put into finding the answer on your own and you are still unable to understand.
And by the way I'm Indian, and I do not appreciate the generalisation.

I'm no suspension guy, but may I recommend a scale? Ruler?
Or maybe a vernier caliper, if you really want to measure the hell out of it.

Yes, this question did sound familiar, because it has only been 3 months since this post (http://fsae.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/125607348/m/832103231?r=930105231#930105231)
Although I suppose taking those lengths into the form of a triangle is a step in the right direction...

You may not appreciate the generalisation, but generally, Indians do ask stupid questions

Find a good vehicle dynamics textbook and read it. This should give you some ideas of the relative merits of different designs. I assume your are a first year team. Start with what you can reasonably package and look at what other teams are doing. You will want to analyze the effects of camber change and load transfer as the suspension moves. Some people on these forums get extremely aggravated by questions like these. They like to see that you have made some attempt to learn on your own before coming here. If you read a bit and come with more specific questions, people will surely be more willing to help.
I try to be patient because i feel that right now FSAE is dying and we need all the new teams and enthusiasm we can get. FSAE is supposed to be a fun learning experience. Sometimes people get a bit too serious.
