guys i have read forums,rcvd , tune to win etc and i understood almost every term and concept about ride and roll...but im still confused about my desired ride and roll rates .i know the formula to calculate them but not sure which value i want...please comment

That's not something we can tell you. It will be different for every vehicle design out there. There are things to consider, such as keeping your chassis from contacting the ground on roll and bump, having the desired load transfer ratio front/rear, achieving the desired amount of roll and bump you designed to, etc... Think about all of the things that your roll and ride rates will impact, and go from there.
hey thanks man..at least i got some direction now..roll rate is the resistance offered to the chassis roll during cornering by springs ..right???how can i know how much resistance will be sufficient??from where can i read about it??

Start with your ride frequencies, and go from there. RCVD gives typical ride frequencies for types of cars (sedan, sedan w/aero, etc.)
Alternately, put it all into a lapsim and see how she goes.
