Hi I was wondering if anyone could ID this sensor that we use on our FSAE car. I have spent an entire day trying to track down if it is an OEM part on a US car. I was lead to believe it was a Ford part, but after doing some Google research it looks to be from a Opel or some other GM Europe car. We have been desperately trying to start our car for the past 2-3 weeks and may have finally traced our starting issue down to possibly this part. The website I could find was this:
http://www.mgfcar.de/throttle/index.htm
It is the jzx3491 sensor.
Here are some pictures I took of our part:

The MoTeC part #: is M518-1

Thanks for your effort.

have you tried asking MoTeC tech support? The guys working there know everything about their stuff.

It is in fact a GM sensor... I have no clue what car it is from though. Why don't you just order another one from MoTeC?

We use the same one, if I remember correctly it is under $30.

They actually sell 2 different versions of this TPS, one spins CCW and one CW... Make sure you specify the correct one.

I have contacted MoTeC but they did not know what it was from. They just order it in bulk from a supplier.
I have ordered one from them, but that won't get here until Mondat at best, which would mean an entire weekend of wasted work.
