Ebay is hit or miss, we bought an engine off ebay last year and it had 3 spun crank bearings and 2 spun cam journals. Price was so good, it was still worth it for the parts, but if we needed a running engine we'd be SOL.

A and J cycle salvage is a good place to go looking, they are in Philadelphia, and we use them from time to time. I am not sure how much they would charge for shipping, but the owner, Anthony, is pretty receptive to fsae teams (he has pictures of a few local fsae teams and their cars up on the wall in the lobby).

Giving them a call is usually the easiest way to get some information out of them. Like I mentioned before, Anthony is the guy who has the say as to how much he can cut you a deal on things.

Also a tip to all the teams, if any of your friend are going to buy a bike, have them get the same kind as your car does. That way if and when they slip their bike and it is totalled, you have a chance of grabbing off the side of the road before a guy in at tow truck can get to it. We missed a perfect chance for this last year and I have been kicking myself for it since.
