Hey guys, I've been snooping around trying to find a master cylinder that is roughly 0.5" or 13mm in diameter that doesn't cost $500 with little to no luck. Can anyone point me to a company / site that would sell these ( preferably in the US ).

Thanks.

That was the only one that I found. I was a little hesitant on getting one though. I did some searching on the forum, and a post from a few years back and someone said they had issues with these master cylinders. see: http://fsae.com/eve/forums/a/t...10465911#67010465911 (http://fsae.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/125607348/m/49010065911?r=67010465911#67010465911)

Have you tried these out before? I'll see if I can order one this week and test it out for leaks/ breaks.

Check out Polaris, they have 0.5" master cylinders, rear ones for either a motorcycle or quad, for something like $13 a piece. We have used them before, and I can at least say that they don't leak or anything, although I really can't speak about them from a performance standpoint, outside of saying they felt alright with what little I've driven on them.

In fact, there's a good deal of interesting stuff on there, including radiators, small MC reservoirs and whatnot, and it's all cheap. Granted they cater more towards baja, but there are still some things useful to formula.
