has anyone built one of these?
would you mind sharing a photo?
(the detail in "engineer to win" is a bit scant)
i can envisage a drivers adjustable "slider type" ARB, but not the "blade type"

we have adjustable blade ARB's, but the driver doesn't mess with them.
we (suspension team) tune here in town for 4 weeks before may 19, finding the right roll stiffnesses for front and rear, and then leave it. we just aim to make the drivers, tires, and timesheets happy with the best numbers.
we then practice on the fastest, best handling setup we can get, letting the drivers get used to that setup.
if you do enough pre-race tuning, i dont see teh need to change suspension settings durning a race. it's just added weight and something else that the driver has to mess with. unless it starts raining during mid race, where your brake bias and many other more important things will be off.

Frank-
NIU used them in the past. Formula Mazdas, Formula Fords, and I think Toyota Atlantic use them. I tryed to get our suspension guy to use them, but he didn't seem to like the idea. I think driver adjustable stuff is a good thing, as long as your drivers know what they are doing. Instead we went with an easily adjustable setup that is not driver adjustable. Oh well, our suspension guy is a lot smarter than I am anyway, I don't like to second guess him (but I still do http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ).
