The SAE Metropolitan Section in conjunction with NFPA is holding a Heavy Duty Brake System Symposium At NJIT, New Jersey Institute of Technology.

* Thursday March 25, 2010 beginning at 12 noon.
* Ballroom B, Campus Center, NJIT, Newark, NJ 07102
* Buffet Lunch beginning at 12 Noon to 1pm.
* Seminar will last from 1pm to 3pm
* SAE & NFPA Members $25.00
* Student Members $10.00
* The Metropolitan section will pick up the tab for the Symposium for any new student that joins the SAE Student Membership.

A Presentation will be given by Irvin Meritor on the latest industry systems designed to meet the growing need for more efficient braking with today's Heavy duty trucks.

A Presentation by Wellman Products Group will be given on the engineering of friction materials, World-class manufacturing, superior materials development and advanced application engineering combine to provide the highest grade products in the market.

This is an update:

The Seminar is free of charge if you show up from 1 pm to 3 pm.
If you plan to show up for Lunch thats at 12 pm you have to pay the respective amount.
