Team USA won their first A1GP race in shanghai, china today! Anybody else been following this year's A1GP?
I dont think A1GP has any type of media coverage in the US. SpeedTV used to show it for one season, but later moved to one of those outdoor sports channel that no one watched.
If you are located in the US, you can watch the race live on its website www.a1gp.com (http://www.a1gp.com) . Next year, the series will race their brand new Ferrari F1-2007 car. I think it's sad that A1GP isnt getting the coverage that it deserves even when they have a support from a well respected company like Ferrari.

We are trying to get Team Finland going.I think the aim is for season 2010. Financially quite hard as like you said there is not much publicity for the serie... Hope that will change.

macros, you can watch the feature race live online. I think the sprint race is delayed though. I think it's ashamed that it's not getting the media coverage it deserves. Sure, it's another formula spec race but they have a lot of exciting race going on so far.
In Australia we get a highlights show which is on pretty late at night and usually a few days after the actual race. Doesn't get a lot of media attention though.
I went to the Aus round last year at Eastern Creek. Spent a little extra and got a paddock pass and it was an awesome day. The teams leave the back of the pit garages open. Obviously you can't go in there but you can walk right up to the back of the grarge, check out the cars and have a chat to the teams when they're not too busy. They also have the pits for the support races (formula ford, GT championship etc) on the infield and you can get right up and chat to them too.
They're damn quick cars and the new Ferrari designed ones will be even quicker so it's well worth going if you can.

I'm Chinese live in HK, but I think there should be 1 round of A1GP in USA. It can be a oval racing.

i think motor racing should leave the US alone if the the only thing the Americans are interested in is NASCAR. Anything done motivated by money is probably not gonna last long. (read: indyGP)

Team India has taken huge steps this year. With team India winning two races this year.
I have very high hopes from them for the next year. With Narain driving for them, and the team getting more sponsors, all I can see an upward progressive graph for this team.
Australia and US haven't been very impressive so far.
