We have one that is an aspiring F-16 pilot / Air National Gaurd student. However he currently works on the planes fuell ines doing saftey wire stuff. This leads to him being the team bitch worker being forced the saftey wire non nylock bolts and in general do crappy work because "your going to be in the military, get used to it." type attitude.

We've got a sorority girl working on our radiator... Upside? Cups, shirts, and other sorority girls. Downsides? Don't go there.

Back in 2000, just before he graduated and became a fighter pilot (ROTC), one of our drivers crashed the car into the hay bales in the practice area in Detroit and broke a bunch of a-arms http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

He couldn't find the ejector seat trigger...

Don't you know that hot girls are dangerous in the shop? One of them walks in and the next thing you know, some guy's got his arm stuck in a milling machine!

We dont have any swedish nurses (damn) but we do have bad group think. IE when we all get togather outside of the shop, and have a few drinks all kinds of mayhem is caused.

Long story short. Nope. It sucks to have a "complete" car and no event for it. University politics.

Even though the judges seem to hate it, we stick to the old school, radiator up front, no side pods, round design.

what does sorority actually mean?

If you live in America, most people on campus associate it with being Greek for brothel. There are some that break the mold though, so i shouldn't stereotype. I mean, they are kind enough to recruit girls that aren't that good looking so the the average ones look better. That counts as public service, right?

This is a bit off topic, but we had a girl who just graduated ME who stripped on the weekends and posed for internet porn. Couldn't get her to join our team. We were all very sad to see her graduate.

We are a team some would call interesting, others would call us special. Those who met us last year in Oz could atest to that.

In keeping with the way this topic is going. We had a girl on the team at the start of this year, she since left. Might have been since she saw "Little Paul" during a down-trou.

They don't have Fraternaties/Sororities in Austrailia?

Nah, not sororities or fraternaties, the only thing that we have over here that would come close would be student social clubs (at Swinburne anyway).
From what I understand, uni is a less of a requirement over here, and most people tend to have their main social groups with all of their high school friends - uni is just a place to be educated, although it does become a social scene for people like us.... stuck in a room with the same people day after day.... just kiddin guys http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

But that's just my experience, someone else wanna chime in??
